New Tourism Australia Campaign Finds Way To Facebook, Twitter and YouTube

The Tourism Australia campaign, '30 days in Oz,' is now being broadcasted on Twitter, YouTube as well as the Facebook page of Tourism Australia. The purpose of the Tourism Australia campaign, comprising thirty-60 seconds online videos, is to demonstrate why the country is a perfect haven for young travellers and promote the Working Holiday Visa. It especially encourages the youth leaving school or on a gap year, to visit the country for work or travel.
Tourism Australia Managing Director Andrew McEvoy reveals that most visitors to the continent are young backpackers, spending most of their time travelling and exploring new places. It is thus, that the youth market is their target audience. The campaign has Aussies revealing their local secrets and giving tips in addition to backpackers enjoying Oz on their Working Holiday, discussing their job or letting viewers follow them on their travels.
'30 days in Oz' follows the same format as the successful 'Trip in a Minute' online videos of Tourism Australia.
